Historical Centre Tour 

Departing from our hostel in Zone 10, we make our way to Zone 1 – The Historical Centre.  Immerse yourself in the colours and flavours of Guatemala at the city’s Central Markets. Taste          and smell the local, exotic fruit, sample typical dishes and purchase some sweet treats or              traditional Mayan clothing and souvenirs.

On this tour, we spend time in the Central Plaza for photo opportunities then take a look                 inside the Cathedral before delving underground and meandering our way around the market.

After wards, we may drive over to the Gallo factory established in 1896 - where Guatemala’s  national and most famous beer is produced. We take a short tour through the museum, ending      in sampling one of their locally produced beers.

Concluding the tour, we may have time (and for those interested) to make a sweet stop at a delicious Italian patisserie.

For visitors short on time in the city, this is the perfect snapshot of Guatemala’s capital!
